Theater Co. Needs Your Help After Somers Point Storage Fire

An organization lost costumes, props and sets in the fire at a Somers Point storage facility. They created a GoFundMe.

SOMERS POINT, NJ — A local theater organization lost the tools they use to tell stories during last month's fire at a storage unit in Somers Point. Now the Theater Collaborative of South Jersey is raising money in rebuilding their supplies.

The organization lost costumes, props and sets during Jan. 30's fire at Sure Storage. One of the storage structures sustained extensive damage in the fire. Read more: 'Large Fire' Breaks Out At Somers Point Storage Facility: Police

The fire destroyed four units belonging to the collective. The Shaken Not Stirred Players and Fool Moon Theatre used the materials, which were also shared with Somers Point schools and Middle Township High School.
