Brothers Raising Holiday Spirits, Funds For Wounded Warriors Tonight
"Jersey Shore Christmas" village display at Red Bank home open 6:30 to 9:30 tonight
James and Matthew Glynn have been creating a miniature Christmas village in their family’s home since they were little. For the last two years, the boys have turned it into something much larger: an opportunity to raise funds for a worthy cause.
This year, James, 15, and Matthew, 12, have turned their family’s garage into a Jersey Shore Christmas extravaganza once more, and for the second year in a row they’re raising funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.
The boys’ village, created of Dept. 56 buildings and accessories that the family has collected for 20 years, will be open to the public tonight, from 6:30 to 9:30, at the family’s home at 28 Sugar Maple Dr., Red Bank.

“They mailed invitations to their soccer teams, classmates, family members, friends, neighbors, as well as to the mayor of Middletown, Governor Christie, Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi,” their mother, Michelle, writes. ”They have both put so much time, hard work and love into this year’s display, and we are hoping for a large group of visitors throughout the community.”
