MIDDLETOWN, NJ — It's not a fireworks display that pops up on Google searches, but if you live in the area, you know it's a show worth watching: The fireworks at Navesink Country Club.

The club is not open to the public, but because it sits on a hill above the Navesink River, the fireworks, which are set off from a spot along the golf course, are easily visible above the trees and from along nearby roads, including Navesink River Road on the south side of the club and along Luffburrow Lane, which leads to the entrance.
Area residents often set up chairs and blankets to watch the fireworks from the edges of the country club's property, as well as other spots nearby.
