The Count Basie announced Friday afternoon they just added a second show to celebrate Bruce Springsteen's 70th birthday in September.

The Count Basie announced Friday afternoon that they just added a second show to celebrate Bruce Springsteen's 70th birthday in September.
The show, called "Born: Celebrating the Boss' 70th," will feature popular local band Brian Kirk & The Jirks plus special guests doing Springsteen covers. Tickets sold out so quickly to the Sept. 26 show that they just today decided to do a second show, which will be Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m.

Standard seating tickets start at $29. No telling who those unnamed "special guests" are, or if The Boss himself may even show up. He lives right nearby in Colts Neck and is frequently seen throughout Monmouth County. You can buy tickets here: https://thebasie.org/
The Count Basie is a performing arts venue in Red Bank. Former "Daily Show" Jon Stewart, who lives in the area, is a benefactor.
