Holiday Open House, 'Wind & Willows' Opening in Week Ahead

It's what's going on in the Red Bank-Shrewsbury area this week.


Happy soggy Monday, friends and fans!

Well, that was an interesting surprise snowfall, right? And it's gone already. Pretty while it lasted, but a bit dangerous for driving.

Around the towns …

• Pat Guadagno is at Jamian's, on Monmouth Street in Red Bank, tonight.

• On Thursday, RiverCenter will host its holiday open house throughout town from 6 to 9 p.m., with photos with Santa at the Galleria.

• Wind in the Willows opens on Friday night at Two River Theater. More on that later this week.

• There's a Red Bank of Education meeting on Tuesday at the Primary School at 7:30 p.m.

Weather, sun, moon and tides …

• It's going to be rainy with a high of 50 degrees today, according to the National Weather Service. As for the rest of the week, we may get rain and/or snow on Tuesday (50 percent chance). From that point on, it's supposed to be clear with chilly temperatures in the 30s.
