Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino Will Be In Red Bank Saturday

Mike will be in Red Bank with JWoww's ex, plus UFC fighter Frankie Edgar, handing out turkeys. He talks about his wife's miscarriage loss:

RED BANK, NJ — If you're a fan of comebacks, rehab or "Jersey Shore," you might want to note that Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is scheduled to be in Red Bank this Saturday, Nov. 23 handing out free turkeys to local families in need.

Sorrentino, who grew up just a few miles away in Manalapan, was released from prison earlier this year. His girlfriend-now-wife, Lauren Sorrentino, stuck by him all throughout his prison term and the couple is now married. She revealed this week that they became pregnant with a child the night he came home from prison but sadly, she suffered a miscarriage at six weeks.

"Being the type-A personality that I am, while Mike was away (in prison) I was tracking my cycle and all that," Lauren told "Strahan, Sara and Keke" this past Monday. "And it worked out perfectly that when he came home I was ovulating. So the night he came home, we actually conceived and then at about six and a half, seven weeks, I miscarried."

She paused, visibly upset.

"It was heart wrenching," Lauren continued. "If I didn't have my faith, I wouldn't be here. It was really difficult. I wanted to share this for other people going through it."

Sorrentino is an Eat Clean fan

Sorrentino will be in Red Bank Saturday along with well-known UFC fighter Frankie Edgar. Also on hand will be Roger Matthews, the ex-husband of Sorrentino's "Jersey Shore" co-star JWoww.

The three men will be giving away the turkeys purchased by Eat Clean Bro, a healthy meal-prep delivery service based in Freehold. Sorrentino, Edgar and Matthews are all fans of Eat Clean Bro and say they use the meal delivery service.

None of the men were paid to participate in this, said a media spokeswoman for Eat Clean Bro.

"The owner of Eat Clean Bro, Jamie, has a great relationship with all of them as they are all big fans of Eat Clean Bro.," she said.

They will be at Lunch Break at 11 a.m. on Saturday, handing out the free turkeys and food to local Monmouth County families in need. Lunch Break is a local soup kitchen and food pantry located at 121 Drs James Parker Boulevard in Red Bank.

Watch below as The Situation and his wife talk about their miscarriage loss:

Sorrentino is a Monmouth County native: He is a 2000 graduate of Manalapan High School.

In 2018, Sorrentino and his brother Marc Sorrentino, 38, pleaded guilty to one count each of tax evasion for failing to report all the income he made off his lucrative "Jersey Shore" stardom. Federal prosecutors say he failed to pay $8.9 million he earned as a result of the MTV show. Sorrentino, then 36, admitted concealing some of his income to avoid paying the full amount of taxes he owed, including receiving payments in cash.

He admitted to underreporting his personal income in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

He also admitted to making cash deposits into bank accounts in amounts less than $10,000 each so that the deposits would not come to the attention of the IRS.

He was sentenced to eight months in federal prison and was just released this summer.
