Red Bank Barbershop Group Offers Concert In Ocean Township

Red Bank-based group presents "Harmony's Coming to Town," Dec. 16 in Ocean Township.

RED BANK, NJ - The borough will host a Dec. 16 performance by an all-male acapella group. The Chorus of the Atlantic will present its annual holiday show, “Harmony’s Comin’ To Town”, 2 p.m. Dec. 16, at the Ocean Township High School Auditorium. The all-male chorus are members of the Barbershop Harmony Society and sing in four -part close harmony.

The Matinee Idles, a chorus comprised of retired men, also will perform and the show includes performances by the Ocean Township High School Chamber Choir.

The Chorus of the Atlantic and the Matinee Idles are the performing components of the 501c(3), Red Bank Area Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society whose mission is to support and encourage singing in the community.
