Red Bank Borough Schools Go Virtual Amid ‘Several’ COVID Cases
The transition comes as a response to "several positive cases of COVID-19 across the district," according to officials.
RED BANK, NJ - Red Bank Borough schools are shuttered until Wednesday, according to school officials.
In a Nov. 12 message posted to the district website, superintendent Jared Rumage announced that the district’s two public schools would be switching to an all-virtual schedule immediately. The transition comes as a response to “several positive cases of COVID-19 across the district.”
“Fortunately, only one of the cases directly impacted our middle school community and due to cohorting, the impact was minimal. It is important to note that the source of each case was identified as the household,” Rumage wrote.
