RED BANK, NJ - One student at Red Bank Regional High School has tested positive for COVID-19, prompting the suspension of in-person classes until further notice, according to school officials.

In a Monday evening message to district families, Superintendent Lou Moore advised that a ninth grader at the high school tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend, resulting a schoolwide closure effective the following day.

“As a precautionary measure, RBR will be closed to in-person instruction in order to give health officials time to evaluate the situation and provide us with further direction,” the superintendent wrote.
