Red Bank Tree Lighting At Gatta Park

Red Bank Parks and Recreation has scheduled a tree lighting for Saturday and if the snow comes, what a scene that will be.

RED BANK, NJ - Members of the Parks and Recreation staff extend an invitation for people to join them Dec. 9 beginning at 6 p.m. for the West Side tree lighting. The event will be at Ralph "Johnny Jazz" Gatta Park at Drs. Parker Boulevard and Shrewsbury Avenue, unless the impending snow storm forcing a postponement. It will feature music, dance performances, giveaways and more. A special guest from the North Pole also may be on hand and he is the lucky one: he travels by sleigh while the rest of us will be slip-sliding all over these snow-covered roads.

A recreation department official said with the snow predicted, they will decide by 10 a.m. tomorrow whether this event will continue or be rescheduled so check their website and social media for updates.

Any other questions, contact Parks and Recreation at 732-530-2782.
