Red Bank's Guinness Oyster Festival Coming Up On Sunday

The festival will start at noon and run until 7 p.m.

Then don't miss the 9th annual Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival coming up on Sunday.

The popular event will run from noon until 7 p.m. at the White Street municipal parking lot. Admission is $ per person. Ages 10 and under are admitted for free.

The event is modeled after the Galway Oyster Festival that celebrates the opening of the oyster season. In addition to oysters, visitors can enjoy pints of Guinness and light beers and wine, along with plenty of food from Red Bank's restaurants, according to redbank.org.

The festival will also feature family entertainment, a children's petting zoo, children's rides and crafts. The rain date is Oct. 7.

Pets are not allowed at the event, only service dogs. All bags are subject to search, due to increased security.
