Ringo Starr, Joan Jett Perform At The Count Basie This Spring
Some big names will be stopping by the beloved Count Basie this spring: Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Daughtry Acoustic Trio and Ringo Starr.
RED BANK, NJ — Some big names will be stopping by the beloved Count Basie this spring: Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will perform on April 26, Daughtry Acoustic Trio will perform May 1 and Ringo Starr and his All-Star Band will be at the Count Basie June 7.
In 2018, the Count Basie was officially renamed The Basie Center's Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre, but all locals still call the longtime Red Bank performing arts venue "the Count Basie."
Tickets go on sale this Friday, and can be purchased by visiting TheBasie.org or calling 732-842-9000.

There will also be a Jersey Shore Doo-Wop Extravaganza Saturday, May 2 at the RWJ Barnabas Health Arena at Toms River North, 1245 Old Freehold Road in Toms River. Featuring acts including: Kenny Vance + The Planatones (“Sh-Boom, Life Could Be A Dream," “Looking For An Echo); The Capris (“There’s A Moon Out Tonight," “Morse Code Of Love”) Cleveland Still and The Dubs (“Could This Be Magic," “Don’t Ask Me To Be Lonely”) John Kuse & The Excellents (“Coney Island Baby," “You Baby You”) and Tom Schizzano & The LAR Enterprises Band.
