Roller Derby League Seeking Toys For Tots Donations

If you're shopping this weekend, pick up an extra toy and donate it to the Central Jersey Roller Vixens' efforts.

The Central Jersey Roller Vixens roller derby league is now accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys as part of a collaboration with Toys for Tots of Red Bank.

Donations of new toys and books for children from newborn to age 16 are welcome at the collection box now through Dec. 9.

The drop box is inside Tab Ramos Sports Center, where the Central Jersey Roller Vixens’ roller derby practices are held. The collection box is in place all hours of operation at Tab Ramos, 17 Blair Road, Aberdeen.

Items collected will be distributed through the U.S. Marines’ annual Toys for Tots Foundation, Red Bank post. Toys for Tots cannot accept toys that include an edible food item or resemble realistic weapons, but otherwise welcomes donations of toys of any type and for any age. No need to wrap or label your donation, simply use the collection box.
