Snow Day Wednesday for Red Bank, Shrewsbury Schools

The snow has been falling furiously since Tuesday morning; and schools officials have announced that Wednesday will be a snow day.

Schools closings have been announced on district websites as follows:

• The closing of all Red Bank Borough Public Schools, including the primary and middle schools, is announced on the site for Wednesday, citing "severe weather."

• In addition to the Wednesday closing announced on the Red Bank Regional High School site, the Board of Education meeting slated for Wednesday night has been postponed until Jan. 29.

• Shrewsbury schools are closed as well.
