Middlesex County is holding Halloween themed-programs for children this year.
According to a news release from the Middlesex County Office of Communication:
The Middlesex County Office of Cultural and Heritage will hold free programs at the Indian Queen Tavern in East Jersey Old Town Village at 1050 River Road in Piscataway.

Registration is required. To register, call 732-745-3030, ext. 310. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

- Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.
- Children ages 5- to 9-years-old can make two Halloween-themed crafts: a trick-or-treat doorknob hanger and a flowerpot ghost craft that can be hung in a window.
Storytelling Sessions
- Friday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Oct. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m.
- “Each guest can attend two of the three storytellers’ performances (at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.). Please specify your choices when registering. Refreshments will be served. Costumes are welcomed.”
