Run with the Vikings At South Brunswick High School

The Viking Athletic Club of South Brunswick High School will host the 11th annual Run with the Vikings 5K and One Mile Fun Run.

The event raises money to reward South Brunswick High School senior athletes with high academic standing. The event will begins and ends at South Brunswick High School on Sunday, Nov. 1.

The One Mile Fun Run starts at 9:30 a.m., the USATF certified Viking 5K starts at 10 a.m. and the Kiddie Dash begins at 11 a.m.

Registration is $25 for the 5K. The One Mile Fun Run registration is $20 and $12 for children under 10. The Kiddie Dash is free or $10 with a shirt.

Registration and packet pick-up starts at 8 a.m. on race day. Race sign-ups and packet pick-up will also be held at Road Runner Sports at the Shoppes in North Brunswick on Oct. 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Rehabilitation Center, Jersey Physical Therapy, Brunswick Urgent Care, PBA Local 166, Ashley Furniture, Colgate, Allstate, Jersey Physical Therapy and Kaplan are among the sponsors.

There will be also be prizes and refreshments, provided by Bertucci’s, Tastee Subs, 7-Eleven, Subway, Bagel Fresh, Chartwells and Pleasant Hill Farms.
