Snowfall Predictions Drop As Snow Turns To Sleet
Central Jersey is now expected to get 6-12 inches as a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain comes down.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The amount of snow Central New Jersey is expected to receive today has dropped, as temperatures warm slightly and precipitation becomes a mixed combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain. Total accumulations of 6-12 inches are more likely at this point, South Brunswick police said.
In addition, this warmer trend will lead to sleet likely being a major player with this system. Sleet amounts of 2.-4" may be seen across the region, and even a brief period of freezing rain cannot be ruled out (especially southern Middlesex Co and Mercer Co). The wintry mix will likely persist through the morning, police said.
There have been no major accidents or incidents reported with the storm so far in South Brunswick Twp.
