Some South Brunswick Students To Wear Red For Dyslexia Awareness Day

Officials at one South Brunswick school want students to wear red on Thursday.

At the Monmouth Junction Elementary School, staffers are asking parents to have their children wear red “to express our support of students who struggle with literacy due to dyslexia,’’ the school said in a Facebook post.

“Many thanks go to Karen Navantieri, our instructional support teacher, who provided zip lock baggies to all teachers in order to remind them to wear red tomorrow,” the post said. “Join us as we promote learning through multi-sensory strategies.”
