South Brunswick Education Foundation To Hold Gala Fundraiser
Attendees can sample food from some of the best restaurants, wineries and caterers in Central Jersey, organizers say.

The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township, Inc. will hold its sixth annual, “A Taste for EDUCATION” gala fundraiser next week.
The event will be held Monday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m at the Princeton Ballroom of the Doubletree Hotel Princeton, 4355 US Route 1 at Ridge Road.
Attendees will be able to sample food from “some of Central New Jersey’s best local restaurants, caterers, and wineries,” a news release said.

A raffle and silent auction will also be held.
“Proceeds from “A Taste for EDUCATION” will support programs to enhance learning experiences of students and effectiveness of teachers in South Brunswick Township,” the news release said.

Food and wine exhibitors include: Chartwells, Clydz, The Cranbury Inn, Fireside Grill & Bar, La Taverna, Ridgeway Bar & Grill, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Tiger’s Tale Bar & Grill, Buy Rite Viking Liquors, and Zinna’s Bistro.

Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at the door.
The Foundation will also honor the recipients of its fourth annual, South Brunswick High School Distinguished Alumni Award. This year’s recipients are the Honorable Michael V. Dowgin and April Gonzalez.
Dowgin is a local attorney and South Brunswick Municipal Court judge. Gonzalez has been a teacher and supervisor in the school district. She is now an assistant principal at South Brunswick High School.
