South Brunswick Library Announces 2021 Summer Reading Program
The 2021 Tails & Tales program opens on June 21. A variety of virtual and in-person events have been planned throughout the season.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Public Library will begin its summer reading program on June 21.
The theme of the 2021 summer reading program is "Tails & Tales." The program will explore a variety of stories that involve animals, especially those with tails.
The program opens on Monday, June 21 and ends on Aug. 15. There will be a variety of virtual and in-person events held throughout the season.

The reading program is open to residents of all ages and registration can be done through the Readsquared app. Patrons can read any book they want and log their progress on the app.
Instead of the annual Fun Festival, the South Brunswick Public Library and the Township Recreation Department are organizing Trails & Tails, on July 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will take place at the library and four South Brunswick parks. Participants will need to visit each of the five locations in a road rally-style event. There will be fun, crafts, and prizes. The library will be releasing more details on that soon.
The South Brunswick Public Library is back to its pre-COVID hours of operation, Monday to Thursday 10 a.m.- 9 p.m.; Friday 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Sunday 1 - 5 p.m.
