Why are you seeking elective office?
I believe my knowledge of the community and ability to work with other agencies and groups can benefit the community.
The single most pressing issue facing our community is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Proper Growth, examination, evaluation and presentation of ideas and solutions
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I'm a township native, and have served the town in appointed capacities for over 40 years as both an employee and volunteer. I have an existing network with many residents and municipal officials and employees.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency).
I won’t cast stones at my opponents. Some I know personally and respect their desire to serve, however, one party control and the continued governance by the same people over long periods of time is not a healthy result.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
I believe Government is an agent of those it represents, the community as a whole.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As a police sergeant, and current Director in the Private Sector, I’ve dealt with stressful positions on a daily basis, from the community, to employees, and process. I'm already a proven performer.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
All that Evil needs to succeed is for good men to do nothing.
