Traffic Alert: Delays Expected Thursday In South Brunswick

A religious service in Princeton is expected to cause heavy delays in South Brunswick Thursday.

Heavy traffic is expected on Route 27, south of Promenade Boulevard, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Police said they expect the traffic because the Durga Mandir Temple, 4240 Route 27, Princeton is holding a special religious service that has previously drawn hundreds of worshippers.

Delays of more than a mile are expected.

Police suggest drivers use Route 1 as an alternate route.
