1,000 J&J COVID-19 Vaccine Shots To Be Given At Toms River Event

Ocean Health Initiatives and Rep. Andy Kim have partnered to host the vaccination event. You must register ahead of time.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A COVID-19 vaccination event to inoculate 1,000 people with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is set for Sunday in Holiday City West, officials said.

The vaccination event is being hosted by Ocean Health Initiatives and U.S. Rep. Andy Kim, who represents New Jersey's 3rd District.

The vaccination event is open to anyone who qualifies to be vaccinated under New Jersey's current eligibility guidelines, but is by appointment only. No walk-ups will be accepted, officials said.

Once you are registered, a representative from Ocean Health Initiatives will call you with an appointment time.

The vaccinations will be administered at 45 Cabrillo Blvd., Toms River, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is a single-shot inoculation.
