SUVs Collide, 1 Overturns On Parkway In Toms River, Police Say

TOMS RIVER, NJ ? Two SUVs heading north on the Garden State Parkway collided Friday morning, sending both off the road and causing one to overturn, New Jersey State Police said.

There were no injuries reported at the scene, Trooper Christopher Postorino said.

The crash was reported at 7:51 a.m. The preliminary investigation determined a Toyota SUV and a Honda SUV were headed north and collided.

The impact caused the Honda to run off the left side of the Parkway, where it hit a guardrail and overturned.

The crash remains under investigation, Postorino said.
