1 Injured As Jeep Hits Dollar Tree Building In Toms River
The damage from the crash has shut down the store until repairs can be made.

TOMS RIVER, NJ ? Dollar Tree remained closed on Wednesday after a Jeep Wrangler hit a support post on Tuesday evening, injuring the Jeep's driver, Toms River police said.
Edda Ramos, whose age and hometown were not immediately available, was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River for treatment of minor injuries, Police Chief Mitch Little said.
There were no injuries reported to any one inside the store.

Ramos was driving the Jeep Wrangler in the parking lot at the Dollar Tree, 953 Fischer Blvd., when she lost control and hit the support post, Little said.
The force of the impact caused the building's outside roof structure to partially collapse, and photos published by Tri-County Scanner News on Facebook showed extensive damage.

The Toms River building inspector responded and deemed the building unsafe, Little said.
Ramos was issued traffic citations, he said.
