40 Weeks In, Free Food Distribution Continues In Toms River
With Christmas on Friday, the free food distribution is early this week in Toms River and South Toms River. Find out how you can help.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Families in need of help can get free food at two distribution sites in the Toms River area on Wednesday, organizers said.
The emergency food distribution — the combined effort of Fulfill and local donors — is providing food for families who are struggling to put food on the table for the 40th week, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
There are two sites distributing food, as they have been for weeks: the Presbyterian Church of Toms River, on Hooper Avenue, and South Toms River Elementary School on Dover Road.

Patch has partnered with Feeding America to help raise awareness on behalf of the millions of Americans facing hunger. Feeding America, which supports 200 food banks across the country, estimates that in 2020, more than 50 million Americans will not have enough nutritious food to eat due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. This is a Patch social good project; Feeding America receives 100 percent of donations. Find out how you can donate in your community or find a food pantry near you.
