Annual Toms River Tree Lighting To Be Held Virtually On Friday
This year's Toms River tree lighting event will be held virtually in light of safety restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.

TOMS RIVER, NJ – This year's Toms River tree lighting event will be held virtually in light of safety restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District will stream the event live on their Facebook page on Friday at 5 p.m.
The tree will remain lit in the evenings for the rest of the holiday season and residents are encouraged to visit throughout the month in order to avoid large crowds.

"We want the community to safely enjoy the holiday spirit in Downtown Toms River," the BID said on Facebook. "So whether you're enjoying the decorations, shopping, eating or visiting with friends let's remember what this time of year is all about and how our love and support for the community."
