Beloved Toms River Grandmother Remembered For Her Singing And Joy
Caroline "Carol" Tarrazi nee Tamburin died at age 94 on Wednesday, June 9, surrounded by family in her home.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Caroline "Carol" Tarrazi nee Tamburin died at age 94 on Wednesday, June 9, surrounded by family in her St. Petersburg, Florida home.
Caroline was born on Feb. 11, 1927, in Brooklyn, New York to Caroline and Frank Tamburin.
She was one of six siblings and sister to Frank, Dora, Carmen, Ida, Martha, and Evelyn.
Caroline worked as a health insurance representative and was married to her husband Victor Tarrazi Sr. for 60 years. Caroline and Victor lived in Brooklyn, New York for most of their lives raising three wonderful children Victor Jr., Janice, and Joseph.

They eventually moved to Toms River, and would make the yearly trip to Florida in the winter. Victor sadly died in 2006 and Caroline eventually met her partner, Don Cahall.
Caroline is remembered for her fun and loving personality and contagious laugh. She was always in good spirits and loved to sing anywhere and everywhere. She had a beautiful voice.

Caroline was predeceased by her husband Victor Sr., her son Victor Jr., her daughter
Janice, and son-in-law George.
Caroline is survived by her partner Don Cahall of 8 and a half years, son Joseph Tarrazi, daughter-in-law Liliana Tarrazi, son-in-law Richard Bini, grandchildren Alexis Hutchings and her husband Jason, Victor Tarrazi and his wife Sarah, Lori Goodwin and her husband Mark, Steven Bini and his fiancé Rosemary, and grandchildren Dylan, Sophia, Connor and Brian.
Visitation will be held on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown.
