Cat Adoption Event Sunday At Toms River Animal Shelter

Shelter officials say the facility is becoming crowded due to kitten season.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Animal Shelter will be holding a cat and kitten adoption event this Sunday, July 15, to help relieve some of the crowding at the shelter.

"We were planning to have an adoption day for kitties next month," shelter officials said in a post on Facebook. "However they just keep coming in on an almost-daily basis!"

There will be both kittens and adult cats available for adoption. The adoption fee will be waived for adult cats.
