TOMS RIVER, NJ ? Toms River has announced its prices and rules for pool access for the Snug Harbor Pool for 2025.

The Snug Harbor pool facility has a main pool with a diving area and a slide; a kiddie pool, a playground, lounge chairs and tables and chairs, and a grassy area. There also is a concession stand.

The biggest change for 2025 is the return of daily passes without a requirement to be with someone who has a season pass. In 2024, Toms River officials implemented that requirement with little public notice, sparking anger among residents who didn't find out until they arrived at the pool for a planned day out.

Toms River Mayor Dan Rodrick defended the rule as a response to complaints from residents in the neighborhood who had been angered by rowdy and alleged inappropriate behavior in the parking lot and along the side streets near the pool.
