Downtown Toms River Farmers Market Gearing Up For 2021 Season

Fresh and organic produce, gourmet foods, baked goods and more are expected to participate. The market will run through October.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you're ready to buy fresh produce in the open air, mark your calendar: the Downtown Toms River Farmers Market is starting up for soon for 2021.

The farmers market is held every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot at New Life Church, 700 Main St., from May 19 through Oct. 27.

The farmers market includes four New Jersey farms selling locally grown fruit and vegetables, and an organic farmer. There are expected to be vendors selling flowers, local honey, gourmet foods, pickles and olives, baked goods, homemade guacamole and salsa, olive oil, dip mixes, dog treats, home decor and a New Jersey winery will participate. A food truck and a smoothie truck will be on the premises every week.
