TOMS RIVER, NJ – FWH Associates, P.A., a regional professional engineering services firm in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, is pleased to introduce Carolyn Feigin, PE, PP, as Project Engineer.

Feigin brings to FWH more than two decades of land development experience in New Jersey, taking projects from proposal to design to approval and construction. She joins FWH following nearly nine years at DW Smith Associates, where she played significant roles in highly visible developments such as Johnny Mac’s in Asbury Park, Donovan’s Reef in Sea Bright, a state-of-the-art asphalt plant expansion in Brick Township, and numerous large-scale, residential subdivisions throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties.

While concentrating her career in civil engineering, land planning, and community association services, Feigin has become particularly passionate about stormwater engineering and management, a subject which affects coastal New Jersey communities significantly. Following Hurricane Sandy, Feigin led many redevelopment projects along the Jersey Shore, successfully navigating Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) regulations.

“When the opportunity arose to join FWH, I knew it was the perfect fit,” Feigin said. “FWH has many different disciplines in-house, with the energy and atmosphere that only an established, yet growing midsize firm can offer.”
With the addition of Feigin, FWH adds its ninth Professional Engineer and a new wealth of knowledge for the team to embrace.

“Carolyn began making an impact from her first day at the firm,” said Brian Murphy, principal at FWH. “We’re looking forward to her leading many projects and delivering the performance and results that have made FWH a trusted engineering partner to developers, property managers, and associations for more than 30 years.”

She is also involved in Professional Women in Building of the Garden State (PWBGS), a state organization dedicated to promoting and supporting all aspects of building while empowering women within the industry. PWGBS frequently donates time and resources to charitable causes.

Feigin has been a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey since 2000 and obtained her Pennsylvania PE license in 2018. She has also been a licensed Professional Planner (PP) in New Jersey since 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
