The Garden State Philharmonic Chorus hosts 2nd Annual Summer Sing
The GSP Chorus' Summer Sing Creates Community Through Music

If you’ve ever wanted to sing a choral masterwork with a group of experienced singers for one night only without rehearsing, you’re in luck.
The Garden State Philharmonic Chorus will be hosting their 2nd Annual Summer Sing on Wednesday, August 7th at 7:30 p.m. at the Jay & Linda Grunin Center for the Arts on the campus of Ocean County College. This fun-filled evening of song will bring together music-lovers from across the Jersey Shore under the baton of Steven Russell, GSP Chorus director. If you are a choral singer whose regular chorus takes the summer off and you want to keep on singing or you want a chance to sing again–or maybe practice sight-singing, than register today!
“The Summer Sing is a great opportunity for inexperienced and experienced choral singers to come together and lend their voices to a great choral masterwork...without any pressure!” says Allison Walter, Garden State Philharmonic Executive Director. This year we will be singing through Mozart’s Requiem. Anyone who’s interested in learning about Mozart’s Requiem and singing with a community is invited to attend, and anyone interested in learning about the GSP Chorus. Non-singers are invited as well. “Even if you don’t know how to read music, you can be in the middle of the action in a live surround-sound experience. But you may as well lend your voice.”
