The benefit raises funds for the Aidan Inteso Memorial Foundation, which in 2022 provided scholarships to two Toms River East seniors. It also works to provide opportunities to empower children, teens, and young adults to ?be better,? which was Aidan's motto.

"On the ice, there was nobody tougher," a post on the Toms River South-East hockey team's Facebook page said in remembering Aidan. "Off the ice, Aidan was a kind and caring person, earning him the admiration of all who knew him."
