TOMS RIVER, NJ ? Parents and guardians are invited to an interactive information program about current drug use and abuse trends in Ocean County at three upcoming programs presented by the Ocean County Health Department and the Ocean County Library system.

The program, "Drugs 101: Drug Trends for Ocean County Parents," will look at a variety of drugs specifically found in Ocean County and their impacts. Attendees will learn slang, understand how the drugs are used, and learn to recognize how people under the influence react.

There will be an interactive teenage bedroom display that contains signs of drug use and abuse, to help parents and guardians know what to look for in terms of illicit substances and paraphernalia.
