Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?

Madigan: We got involved in The Mosquito Authority simply by being a customer. We were amazed on how the product worked. We experienced for ourselves that it was possible to reclaim our yard and we no longer had to run inside every night to avoid those annoying pests.

Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in a few words, what would those words be?

Madigan: Educate, protect, friendly, dedicated, competent service.

Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?

Madigan: One of our biggest challenges that we face in our job is dealing with multiple rainy days.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Madigan: The most satisfying part of our job is when our customers thank us for now being able to enjoy family time in their backyard without those annoying mosquitoes and pests.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?

Madigan: Our business distinguishes itself from the others because of our dedicated customer service. We treat our customers like family and provide them with the very best protection and service possible.

Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?

Madigan: The best piece of advice that we have been given regarding running a successful business is to treat every customer the way that you would like to be treated!

Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?

Madigan: Our new endeavor this season is the launch of Pest Authority. With Pest Authority we can offer homeowners with pest protection and service. Our lead pest technician, Bill Carolan has more than 40 years of pest experience. Bill also brings a level of professionalism, knowledge and experience that complements our company mission.

Patch: Do you have any events coming up in your community?

Madigan: The Mosquito and Pest Authority is involved in sponsoring multiple clubs/organizations in our community. Our company also sponsors four academic scholarships to qualifying senior year students in southern Ocean County.
