Broken Water Pipe Causes Minor Damage At Ocean County Courthouse
The broken pipe on the fourth floor led to water on the third floor, with minor problems, officials said.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — A broken water pipe on the fourth floor of the Ocean County Justice Complex set off fire alarms on Monday morning not long after court sessions got under way, officials said.
The break in the pipe, for heating and hot water, caused some water to get through to the third floor, said Donna Flynn, public information director for Ocean County.
"Some ceiling tiles had to be replaced and some water cleaned up," she said. Everything had been cleaned up and repaired by noon, she said.
