Online Registration Open for FEMA Workshops

Workshops to help answer residents' questions regarding FEMA following Hurricane Sandy have been scheduled by the township for next weekend. 

The township will host the workshops at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26 in the High School East cafetorium. Online registration for each session is available on the township's website. 

"EMA Representatives will be present to explain the process of rebuilding your home and address issues including the base flood elevation advisory maps, rebuilding options, Increased Cost of Compliance (ICC) program, Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, FEMA claim process, Small Business Administration, and other topics of interest," the township said in a statement. 

Staff from the township will also be on-hand to answer questions.
