Person Seriously Injured In July 4th Fight In Toms River: Police
A fight on Hazelwood Road remains under investigation, police said

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A person was flown to a hospital with serious injuries Sunday night after a fight on a residential street in Toms River, police said.
Police were called to Hazelwood Road about 9:30 p.m. for an injured person, said Jillian Messina, media relations specialist for the Toms River Police Department.
The initial investigation revealed there was a fight, she said.

The injured person flown to Jersey Shore University Medical Center was not identified.
Messina said the investigation was continuing and directed further inquiries to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.
