Authorities said the closures will last well into Tuesday evening.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — A crash that brought down utility poles and wires has closed Route 37 east in the area of the Garden State Parkway, officials said Tuesday.
Authorities are urging motorists to avoid the area as roads are closed, including the southbound ramp from Route 37 east to the Garden State Parkway, the Toms River Office of Emergency Management said in a Nixle alert issued shortly before 5 p.m.
