Route 9 Closure Set For Monday In Toms River

One lane will be closed and there will be alternating traffic on the second lane, the state Department of Transportation said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A portion of Route 9 in Toms River will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. Monday for resurfacing, the New Jersey Department of Transportation announced Monday afternoon.

The paving will be done on the stretch of Route 9 from Clover Road to the Route 70 interchange, state officials said.

One lane of the road will be closed, and there will be alternating traffic on the other lane, state officials said.

The closure is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. and continue until 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
