Route 9 Crash Brings Down Utility Pole In Toms River
Authorities are asking people to avoid the area while the utility pole is replaced.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Motorists are being asked to avoid the area of Route 9 at Indian Head Road in Toms River after a crash brought down a utility pole on Wednesday.
The Ocean County sheriff's office issued a Nixle alert asking people to avoid the area while the pole is being replaced.
The crash brought down the pole and wires in the southbound lanes, according to state traffic officials.
