Seaside Heights CVS To Administer COVID-19 Vaccinations

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — Those searching for a COVID-19 vaccination in Ocean County will have another place to try to register for an appointment, when the CVS in Seaside Heights starts administering the shots.

The Seaside Heights location was among 14 in New Jersey named Tuesday as CVS pharmacies that will be inoculating people with the COVID-19 vaccine beginning Feb. 11.

Appointments are scheduled to be available for booking as early as Tuesday, CVS said in a news release, as stores receive shipments of the vaccine.

Supply for the limited rollout in New Jersey, which is connected the federal pharmacy partnership program, will be approximately 19,900 total doses.

Vaccines at participating CVS Pharmacy locations in New Jersey will be available to individuals meeting state criteria.

Patients must register in advance at CVS.com or through the CVS Pharmacy app, and people without online access can contact CVS customer service: (800) 746-7287. People who walk in without an appointment will not be vaccinated.
