Stop & Shop Donates More Than $145,000 to Support the Efforts of Fulfill in Monmouth and Ocean Counties

Stop & Shop Regional Vice President for New Jersey, Mandy Koski, presented two checks to Kim Guadagno, President of Fulfill. These donations will be used to fight hunger across Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
One of the checks was the total amount raised by customers at Stop & Shop’s 14 Monmouth and Ocean County stores during company’s 30th annual Food for Friends Campaign. This hunger relief campaign ran from November 6th through November 26th and generated $65,919.28 for the food bank. The second check donation was from the Stop & Shop Family Foundation, one of the company’s dedicated philanthropic arms, which provided a grant of $80,000 to Fulfill for programs that support feeding children across Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Stop & Shop’s Food for Friends campaign is an annual company-wide donation program where customers can donate at checkout to support hunger relief in their communities. To help regional food bank partners in this time of unprecedented need, customers rounded-up their purchase to the nearest dollar and donated the change, or made a $1, $3 or $5 contribution. Stop & Shop donated 100% of the change to its regional food bank partners, such as Fulfill.
