Toms River Company Gives Back To Front-Line COVID-19 Workers
The Mosquito Authority is offering free yard treatments to front-line medical workers who have been caring for COVID-19 patients.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Over the last year, back yards have been the place to relax and spend time as families throughout the state stayed home in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
That includes hundreds of front-line workers, who have been caring for patients battling the effects of COVID-19; time to relax and get away from the stress of the pandemic has been at a premium.
The Madigan brothers, whose Mosquito Authority and Pest Authority specialize in taming the pests that make spending time outdoors, want to make sure that front-line workers can enjoy their yards to the fullest in 2021.

To make that happen, they are giving away free treatments each month from April to October to front-line workers, as a thank you for all they have done in the pandemic.
"Bryan and I have been so impressed with the selfless act that our front-line medical workers have displayed over the past year that we decided to give away 100 free yard treatments per month during our mosquito season to these courageous individuals," Chris Madigan said during a recent interview. "This is our way of saying thank you."

He said he and his brother, Bryan, were talking about the season coming up and how the front-line medical workers have put so much time into the community.
Bryan had the idea for giving the free treatments, Chris said. "It’s small it’s local … it’s like a thank you."
"Everyone’s home. No one’s vacationing right now so it’s a nice time to be able to enjoy it," Chris Madigan said.
It is the Madigans' eighth season serving Toms River and points south, and their newsletter has more than 3,000 recipients. They realize there are many front-line workers among them, but they wanted to reach out to others as well.
Front-line COVID-19 medical workers who would like to be included in the free treatments should call 732-797-1617, or visit the Mosquito and Pest Authority at bugsbite.com.
