Do you or anyone in your family work for the state, county or local governments? My wife and and have both been teaching for 20 years in Monmouth County.
Why are you seeking office? To maintain the small-town feel of Toms River, preserve our neighborhoods, stop increasing taxes and root out corruption.
What do you feel is the most pressing issue facing the community, and what do you want to do about it? High-density development continues to reshape our communities and Mayor Hill's capitulation to special interests & developers threatens our quality of life.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking to serve? Our opponents are "yes-men" for the administration. Crispin, Ciccozzi and Maruca are the very people who approved all of this high-density development, they and their running mate Quinlisk are all handpicked by Mo Hill. We will put a stop to Mayor Hill's pro-development agenda and fight to preserve our neighborhoods. My opponent Jason Crispin has been on the Zoning Board of Adjustment for 11 years and he gave out the variances, “special deals” that allowed developers to skirt our zoning and build thousands of new units in North Dover.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform. We will put Toms River Residents First. We are Pro-Family, Pro-Taxpayer and Pro-Toms River.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you will be effective in office? My record speaks for itself. I have never voted to increase taxes, voted against millions in waste.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions? I have voted against more high-density development, exposed corruption and voted against reducing the acreage requirement for houses of worship.
