Toms River Motor Vehicles Office Closed Due To COVID-19
The Toms River office of the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles has been shut down for two weeks, the state said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you had a driver's license or REAL ID appointment scheduled at the Toms River office of the state Motor Vehicles Commission, you'll have to reschedule: the office is closed for two weeks due to COVID-19.
The office closure was announced Monday; it is anticipated to reopen May 3, according to the state MVC website.
The Toms River office is the only one in Ocean County that handles licensing. The Lakewood office, which handles vehicle registrations, is open. The Manahawkin office, which also handles registrations, is expected to reopen Saturday following a COVID-19-related closure.

Routine renewals of driver's licenses and vehicle registrations must be done online. The state MVC has information explaining how to do it here.
