Toms River Woman Dies In Monmouth County Crash: Police
The 85-year-old woman has not been identified; police are seeking witnesses to the crash.
FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — An 85-year-old Toms River woman has died in a crash in Monmouth County on Sunday, authorities said.
The woman, whose name has not been released, died in the crash at the intersection of Monmouth Road and Ely Harmony Road Sunday just before 1:45 p.m., Freehold Township police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The driver of the other vehicle was a 42-year-old Freehold Township man; he was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
