TOMS RIVER, NJ ? A phone call to police reporting a shooting threat to Toms River High School North is being investigated as a swatting incident, Toms River police said Friday morning.

Toms River North was locked down as a precaution, police said.

The called-in threat has been deemed unfounded, they said, and the swatting investigation is underway.

"We are requesting no one respond to the school as there is no active threat," Toms River police said.
