Washington Street, Clifton Avenue Reopened In Toms River
The intersection has been reopened to traffic, authorities said.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Washington Street and Clifton Avenue have been reopened, after closing for a few hours Wednesday morning due to a traffic signal that was not working, authorities said.
The two roads were shut down about 8:45 a.m., but were reopened about 11:45 a.m., The Toms River Office of Emergency Management said.
Washington Street was closed from Dickinson Avenue to Vine Avenue. Clifton Avenue was closed from Washington to Batchelor Street. There was no access to Point O Woods at the traffic light.
